Our design process is based around the 7 EB Interior principles.
The Process
The Brief
This is our initial meeting, we start to get a scope for the project, we discuss budget and start to get an understanding of what function each room needs to play.
Concept Design
Concept design is all about collaboration. We like to strike a nice balance between your ideas with our bespoke design vision. It involves mixing the unique and functional with beautiful aesthetics. This is where we start to get you excited and inspired.
FF + E Selection
In our fittings, fixtures and equipment stage, we commence a decision on finishes, both floor and walls, incorporating tiles, stone, carpet and timbers. We also curate the lighting and fittings, the important appliances for kitchen and laundry plus the sanware for the bathrooms.
Design Development
A very important stage in the design process, this is where get to see all the initial concepts and an overall feel for the design in its first stages. It is a changing and evolving stage, where we have a more in depth understanding of our clients, through the use of imagery and concept / mood boards.
Detail Drawings
This is our opportunity to tidy up all of our plans, making the overall design more concrete and technical. We fine tune and develop our drawing more and start to engage our trades and any consultants that are required.
Tender
The Tender process is completed with highly developed plans and elevations that highlight the chosen finishes and joinery details. We compile a builders & joinery package and cement and complete our final drawings.
Furniture, Soft Furnishings and Styling
The most anticipated stage, the finale of the whole design process, where all selections of furniture and soft furnishing are pieced into place. The beautiful artwork, soft cushions, luxe rugs and bespoke curtains are carefully combined to add more texture and layers to the space, making the final design uniquely yours.
