Rock House
With a neutral palette extracted from the breathtaking natural surroundings, textured finishes were used to create visual interest.
We contrasted the long horizontal lines of the exterior with strong vertical detailing on doors and joinery in the interior.
Inspired by the location’s natural environment and by the view beyond, we introduced some organic, soft shapes into the interior.
The staircase is a central feature of the home and is a great example of this.
With its organic movement it offers a beautiful break from the hard, geometric lines. A beautiful feature of the exterior is the enormous sandstone boulder next to the swimming pool.
