Emma Buchan
Growing up in the design and building industry, Emma from a young age has been passionate about houses and design.
After completing a Bachelor of Interior Design in 2002, Emma worked for a number of years with some of the most reputable high-end residential design firms in Sydney.
Using the extensive knowledge she gained from the Australian design industry, Emma decided to travel overseas to expand her skills in design Internationally.
Emma enjoys pushing the boundaries of design, whilst making sure each design is still functional. Working with varied materials and layering textures and patterns to create designs that are both timeless and beautiful.
Her focus is constantly on designing spaces that are refined and polished, but sincerely reflecting a client’s individual personality. To be involved in the design process from beginning to end is the most rewarding part for Emma to see clients faces and see their excitement as they start to enjoy their new surroundings.
Holly Kennedy
Holly’s design dexterity is in her ability to carefully layer spaces, using her strength of carefully balancing materials.
Her experience working for a boutique design firm in Sydney’s Eastern suburbs, allowed her to assist in creating stunning spaces, in some of the most beautiful city and country homes.
Holly thrives on helping clients through all design stages, from capturing their style, to elevating and realising the final product to a level that excites and delights, when the outcome is revealed. This for her, is what it is all about.
Madeleine Downs
Madeleine brings a fresh yet timeless take on design to the EB team.
She holds a Bachelor of Interior and Spatial Design, this along with property styling and high-end hospitality design experience, has given her the opportunity to learn a range of skills; from concept design and spatial planning, styling, graphic and illustrative knowledge to architectural integration.
Madeleine takes inspiration from countless beautifully designed spaces, and believes that creativity and versatility in every project is necessary for maximum achievement and gratification.
Hannah Matthiesen
With over 15 years experience in the interior design industry Hannah has worked on both commercial and residential projects in Australia, Germany and Japan.
After studying design at Sydney’s University of Technology, Hannah furthered her education at the industry acclaimed Sydney Institute Design Center, specialising in Interior Decoration.
Hannah cherishes working closely with each client to help them tell their story, creating unique, personal spaces.
Amanda Daly
Keeping the office finely tuned, by organising the logistical juggle of clients, potential clients, tradespeople, suppliers, enquiries, payments and other team members is Amanda. All of this is managed seamlessly and with effortless ease.
Amanda built up a solid career working in the amazingly fast paced environments of the Treasury & Foreign Exchange division for Westpac in Sydney, and then the Bank of NY in London, so she is completely at home (so to speak) as the operational, financial and administrative backbone of EB Interiors.
Her natural energy and talent for communication and organisation, ensure a smooth passage for all projects, as she easily navigates the EB team through the minefields of specification, ordering and installation.
Jade Corcoran
Jade studied a Bachelor of Interior Design at Swinburne in Melbourne graduating with an Honours degree. Jade has worked across a range of sectors including commercial, healthcare and residential. Her love for creating beautiful interiors led her to focus on residential as she finds it the most satisfying enriching people’s everyday living with functional spaces that are held close to their heart. She has a keen eye for design detail and thoroughly enjoys all stages of the design process; from concept to the final product. Since given the opportunity to work with EB Interiors, Jade’s approach to design has further developed and her style sits amongst the teams approach. She takes inspiration from previous world travels and believes good design can change the way we work and live.
